Very good program but please setup and search

Little options, many bugs. Gets stalled very often.

Not bad, but very limited app. Settings are not working. Its so differently at Chessbase.

Functionality very limited compared to desktop version, usability could also be improved. Worst of all, sometimes just hangs upon launch.

No search!

needs improvement. search functions not friendly. often it crashes. only basic functions available.

Despite the awesome HUGE database the app is annoyingly poor designed as well as in the user interface than in user Thats a really pity with such a beautiful database. Its clumsy to navigate back and forward inside a match. You cant jump to the games played with that particular opening form the opening book. For 3.99€ a superior care was really expected. Strongly hope for some good updates.

Two stars only for the DB. The web version is absolutely better and is getting better every day. This app needs to have at least all the features of the web app. Hey Chessbase, we both know that you can do better. Lets upgrade this app. More value for the money

1. 3D touch! 2. Add one more picture 3. On details make all the pictures landscape with the video 4. on details add a video to show inside the app 5. Put a picture top of the logo app like uber app 6. Every time i open the app and i go online to see a game its not colorful so i go back to (games) up left corner then go inside the game the same game i was looking after that everything comes good the game have to much color and looks nice! 7. That would be nice to add a picture of chess players too so we can see the faces

It was working great for Months. Now is stop Working on my pad and iPhone . Can anyone help Me

This app is great but stopped working a few days ago. I cannot bring up games from the database, which is the most important function. The opening book is not working, either. I have tried standard solutions such as making sure that I have an Internet connection, turning the device off and on and resetting it to no avail. Attempting to contact customer support has gotten me no response. In fairness I must revise the comments above. I have succeeded. I have gotten this app working again after getting a new Internet connection. It is a fantastic app that facilitates the study of chess in numerous ways. My real problem was getting help to solve the problems which even baffled people who work professionally in the computer field. So my only caveat is to warn the user that you must have a good internet connection!

I agree with the other reviewers - this was a very bad upgrade. I wish I could restore the old version, which at least worked. I really enjoy this app, when it works. I have reloaded it several times, and it will not get past the opening screen, either sitting there or disappearing. Come on, Chessbase, you can do better than this!

This is by far the worst piece of ChessBase out of 20 that I own. Only thing I get is 1000 games. Save your money. ChessBase should be ashamed.

Had lots of games... then updated and now only 1000 games. Also crashes on startup about 60-70% of the time. Pretty awful in its current iteration.

* save reviewed db game to local storage * game being reviewed persists if you leave the app * search terms persist, so that you dont have to reenter terms if games are not found

This app is a must for any serious chess player. This is just another great product produced by chessbase.

Search function is a bit limited but u can search by position which is very nice but wasnt very obvious Also why does the application restart everything when I exit or switch to another app. It should leave it in the last state I left it. Also I have do to searches over and over every time I move around the app or switch to another app. Why isnt there search history!! Id say save your money till it gets better.
